Heavy Hitter Promotions is founded by Michael James , Because of his Long Time friend Marcus “Buff” Bagwell was injured in the ring .. April 22, 1998, Bagwell suffered damage to several vertebrae and developed spinal shock syndrome during his days with WCW Championship Wrestling ….

It was a long hard road for Marcus , of course he had to maintain appearance’s but behind the scenes it was a very hard and very painful road for Buff….He is a performer and entertainer and does what he does for his fans….Because he loves his fans without them there is no Buff , and he is very thankful of that…

And there are many other Wrestlers , Boxers, Female Boxers, Mixed Martial Artists out there who do what they do because they love it so much and for the admiration of their fans…

But there is a problem…either they have no medical insurance or it just simply is not enough..Or they get hurt like Buff and cannot perform like they used to or simply just cannot because of their injuries sustained due to the nature of their profession…

Or many of them are deceased before their time because of unfortunate accidents and the familys need some help in their time of need
